Outdoor Art Show at Hammonasset 8/25

Hello everyone, I wish I could share with you some of my recent paintings but they are too wet to photograph. My new camera which takes great pictures, is very sensitive and if the paint is wet it picks up lots of glare. So I thought today I'd give a little update and some news.

On Friday August 25 from 4-7 pm I will be participating in an Art in the Park, outdoor art show at the Meigs Point Nature Center in Hammonasset State Park, Madison, CT. As many of you know I paint at Hammonasset A LOT !! The show is sponsored by the Friends of Hammonasset and part of the proceeds from the sales will be given to them. If you're local please come down to see the art and support the park.

I also have 6 paintings at the Madison CT, Town Hall. They'll be on display there until Sept. 5th.

On Friday Sept. 8th from 6-8pm The opening reception for the "Appreciation" show will be held at the Scranton Memorial Library in Madison. I'll have work in this show which features artwork by the members of the Board of Directors of the Madison Art Society in appreciation of the library and the library staff, as well as selected members of the community who have done so much to support the Madison Art Society.

On Saturday Sept. 9th I'll be teaching a one day PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP in Old Saybrook CT. Call the Tracy Art Center 860-388-1391 for information.

Dudley Farm in Guilford, CT will be having their annual Harvest Festival Oct. 28th and I will be participating in an art show in the yellow barn during the festival. This is a really fun, classic New England event and if you live near enough I'd encourage you to stop by.
