What a beautiful day it was today!! I was really inspired by the soft quality of the morning light. My $100 Painting lens at Squidoo made it into the Top 100 !! Hurray! And I did my annual painting of sunflowers today...but it will have to wait for another day to be posted. I painted it with a painting knife and the paint is very thick, and glossy and it will be a week or so until it's dry enough to photograph without causing a lot of glare.

Just looked up Leete Island, found this site. my ancestors were Leetes and lived on the island.
