We had a brief, and I do mean brief, brightening of the skies after this mornings thunderstorm. The pansies on the porch railing have been thriving in all this cool wet weather so they are today's subject du jour. The rest of the garden is fit to burst. Everything has enormous buds, the peonies, iris, rugosa roses, allium, azalea, salvia, chives are all ready to pop as soon as the sun comes out and the temps climb to a respectable level for May. Which I'm hoping will be soon. Meanwhile I'm trying to keep busy in the studio making painting panels, framing and doing lots of sketching and drawing.
