More peonies! I though I'd better make the most of them before they're gone until next year. These were in a beautitful English porceline vase on my diningroom table.

Yes---with oils you can really get true, clear pinks and roses. I find it so hard with other mediums. This is so lovely.
My favorite oil paint for pinks is quinacridrone red, add a little yellow for warmth.
