It finally feels as if spring has arrived. Flowering trees and shrubs are everywhere! It's wonderful to celebrate each season by painting its particulars, and dafffodils are one of the things I really love about spring. If you could see this painting in real life one of the things you would notice, that is not showing up in the jpeg, are the many and varied subtle variations in the color yellow that makes up the flowers. Maybe I should take a close up to post and show you......
