Today all these cheerful pieces are on their way to The Gilded Liliy Gallery in Milford, CT. Beginning a new relationship with a gallery is always exciting and I'm looking forward to working with Rosemary Gordon the gallery owner. Stella D'Oro Daylilies is part of a series of garden themed plein air paintings I did last summer after taking a workshop with renowned plein air painter Charles Sovek at the Lyme Art Association. Cut Your Own, Beach Umbrellas and Farm Field are all 9x12, plein air oil paintings. If you live in the area or passing through Connecticut on I-95 I encourage you to pay a visit to The Gilded Lily, where you will find fine art, glass, jewelry, sculpture, pottery and more!
