Spring Color, 20x20, oil/canvas

I went to the beach to do some plein air painting but WOW was the wind blowin' hard on the beach front. I tried valiently to set up but my big 20x20 in. canvas kept catching the wind like a sail. So I went up onto the pavillion and stood behind a wall and caught this great view of the tidal marsh. Lots of seagulls and lots of people and their dogs! I love dogs and felt kind of guilty for not having brought mine. She loves it at this nearby state park. I think I should make it up to her and take her on a long walk there tomorrow!
