Happy St. Patrick's Day! Beautiful day today, not as windy, lots of sun. Today is the day for the wearin' o' the green, or maybe for the paintin' o' the green! The rocks and boulders in these parts are often covered with lichen and moss. These small plants are often the first things to green up in the early spring giving their rocky hosts a green/grey hue. So they were the perfect subject for today's painting.
