The thing that stuck with me was the word "unhelpful." I can see that. I wanted to let you know that I have changed the post to a setting that will not let it be found on a google search. Random people will not be able to read it, allowing them to formulate their own opinions of your work. (Go ahead and double check. If my privacy settings didn't work, I'll go back and change them.)

Thank you very much. It is not easy to reevaluate what we have done, said or wrote and then admit that we may have been wrong. Though it happens to all of us, many are not willing to take responsibility even when we know we should, so good for you. As an artist I'm sure you realize that being an artist is difficult. It requires taking personal and emotional risks, often being misunderstood and unsupported (by family, friends and strangers).It often seems that everyone is a critic, and few are supportive. It often takes more than a quick look to understand what an artist's purpose and intent is in their work. In art as in so many things in life it is very easy to criticize but much more difficult to dig deep and take the time to be understanding and helpful. So again I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to rethink what you wrote and take steps to make ammends.

I stumbled across this blog and the pictures are fantastic. My wife paints pictures, but they are not nearly as good as this one. I've e-mailed her this website to make sure she checks out these paintings. She has recently been discouraged with painted because of much time it takes and she seems like she lost her vision. I'm hoping this website will help her out. Thanks!
