Meigs Point Seagulls,16x20/oil/canvasplein air painting
WeatherUnderground predicted rain showers today, but all morning it was partly sunny. Right after lunch I went to Hammonassett State park all the way down to Meigs Point. Had a great time painting, nice soft hazy sunlight. I was just about done, putting in the seagulls, and the heavens opened up! It's a good thing oil and water don't mix! The painting, although covered with raindrops was fine, I was pretty wet though. April Fools!
