Ever since Georgia O'Keefe painted her series of macro- florals I often think, Why bother?. Her work is so iconic that it makes all other macro-florals seem redundant. I feel the same way about sunflowers and waterlillies. When ever you paint them people always say..."Oh, just like Van Gogh!", "Just like Monet!" I wish! However the beauties and charms of these tulips in my garden, now in a vase, proved too much for me to resist. Hope you enjoy them, I did!
