Burning Bush

It's been gray and showery but I've been desperate to get out and paint. Although the light was uninspiring I went out to paint anyway!! These large shrubs are green and non-descript most of the year but in the autumn they turn an intense crimson color. They are called Burning Bush after the ancient story of Moses who encountered God, manifested in a bush that burned but was not consumed.
